Bambi is a beautiful young Mini Lop who has recently been surrendered into the care of Rabbit Rescue Aotearoa. She is sweet, gentle and now beginning the next stage of her journey.
Before she is ready for adoption, Bambi will be desexed, vaccinated, litter trained and carefully bonded with Tinker. Once they are successfully bonded, Bambi and Tinker will be looking for their forever home together.

This gorgeous little boy is Tinker, and he's ready for the next chapter of his life. Tinker has had a rough past, so he can be very shy and skittish when he first meets you.
Underneath that shyness is a gentle little soul who just needs patience, kindness and time to learn that he is safe and loved.

Enquire
Tell us about your home, whether you have existing rabbits to bond with, and what kind of companion you're looking for.
Home check
We look for secure, predator-proof housing and enough space for a rabbit to run, dig, and stretch out fully.
Bonding visit
If you're adopting a companion for an existing rabbit, we arrange a supervised meet before any commitment is made.
Welcome home
Rabbits leave our care desexed, vaccinated where appropriate, and with a care guide tailored to their personality.
Bonded pairs need homes together.
Rabbits are deeply social. Many of the pairs and trios in our care have already bonded and cannot be separated — they're looking for one home, not two.
Rabbit Rescue Aotearoa is a developing initiative and is not yet independently registered as a charity. Until it is, support and enquiries are coordinated in partnership with Aotearoa Animal Refuge (CC60429).
